Product Update Notice: IMO Limit Switches

As of May 2024, the IMO Limit Switches range will go through a transition to a new version. The following IMO Limit Switch ranges will be affected by this Product Update Notice: LR Series, LM Series, LK Series, LX Series, LW Series and LZ Series.

One of IMO Precision Controls primary goals is to offer customers cutting-edge technical solutions while guaranteeing the same refined style that has always distinguished the brand. In line with this philosophy, we are proud to announce the restyling of switches for standard applications in the LR, LM, LK, LX, LW & LZ Series. The changes to these products will be primarily aesthetic, but will also offer benefits in terms of durability, resistance and practicality for cabling. On top of this, introduction of a new automated production line will enable improved lead time.

Main new features include:

• Updated design of housing with rounded lines
• Anthracite grey colour
• Laser engraving in place of existing label
• Hinged cover
• Metal plates on mounting holes
• IP67 and IP69K protection degrees
• New adjustable levers

Existing part numbers remain the same. If purchased separately, some actuators, which have improved functionality, must be ordered with a different part number. (see Product Update Notice - below)

Because products remained unchanged in terms of functionality and part numbers remain the same, introduction of the updated versions will be progressive and independent, according to the depletion of existing component stocks. During the transition period it is possible that two different part numbers in the same order may be delivered one in the existing version and the other in the updated version with changes as explained on the Product Update Notice document.
